A little bit about us
KATELYN
I’m a digital marketer by day and a photographer by night. I adore yoga and all things related to health and wellness, yet I can't resist a night of binge-watching reality TV, especially if it's a dating show. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie with a passion for feeding my loved ones, though I once toyed with the idea of becoming a food blogger (who knows, it might still happen). My favorite country in the world is still France and my all time favorite color is green. Despite being a small-town girl, I possess an insatiable desire to explore every corner of the planet, starting with the US in our 27 foot Airstream. While I genuinely enjoy my 9-5 job, I don't spend my off-hours dreaming about work. You'll usually find me outdoors, whether I'm hiking, reading, or simply soaking up nature.
SCOTT
Describing me as restless would be an understatement. I am constantly chasing adventure and looking to learn new skills. Acquiring new hobbies is my favorite drug. I love skiing, mountain biking, hiking to the top of mountains, and pretending like I’m going to start fly fishing. If I’m not out on a trail wearing myself out, I’m sitting in a dive bar, trying to find Live music, perfecting our pourover coffee, or maintaining the truck and trailer. My number one goal in life is to get on Survivor, which would require me to put an application in. If you were to ask me what my favorite place I have been is, that would require a 2hr conversation where I tell you the pros and cons of each place, ultimately leading you to be confused and not receiving an answer. Also, it’s Moab. If I had one piece of advice to give someone, it would be to take the road less traveled. Not only has it made all the difference, it’s so much more fun.

About Our Relationship
We met back in late 2018. Soon after, we began spending countless hours in a climbing gym, both thinking we were just friends, but slowly falling in love. In February of 2021, after a long motorcycle ride, Scott proposed. Kate said yes and in November of that year we got married in New Orleans. Though neither of us are from NOLA, we wanted to get married somewhere fun. You will see the theme that we aren’t very traditional. We wanted a celebration more than a ceremony. For our honeymoon we went on a two week trip through France. This is where we fell in love with Europe and traveling together. Within 2 years we had already planned our next European trip, to Portugal.
Anyways, after our wedding, we thought the next move would be to buy a house. Unfortunately, in a post covid world, the housing market was out of control. We continued to put in offers for homes and we were continuously out bid. It was exhausting. Fast forward a year into trying to buy a home, and in the late summer of 2022, Scott and I called each other’s bluff and decided “why not travel for a while.” We both worked remote so it felt like a no brainer.
Originally we were going to do a monthly stay in Airbnbs all over the world. While this may happen one day, we were not ready to live out of one bag each, keep all of our outdoor gear in storage, and leave our kitchen behind. After researching, then searching, we found our rolling home. Read here to learn about the process.
Since hitting the road in January of 2023, we have driven to 23 states, spent time in 4 countries, showed at over 60 Planet Fitness locations, and experienced 21 national parks and counting.
We both want to say “Thank You” for being interested in our journey. We will be sure to continue updating everyone on our adventures, experiences, and sharing the knowledge that we have learned. Please reach out with any questions or suggestions that you have.
Welcome!
